GFG Alliance Advisor Former Director of Communications at No.10 Downing Street
Katie was the first female Director of Communications at No.10 Downing Street, working to the Prime Minister Theresa May MP. As well as providing communications counsel to the PM and running the No.10 press office and special advisor network, Katie worked closely with each Secretary of State to enhance development of policies and communications campaigns in areas such as health, education and business to name a few. Katie now hosts her own radio show for TalkRADIO, is a columnist with The Times newspaper and Chairs iNHouse Communications, the business she co-founded in 2006.
Previously, Katie was also appointed by the Prime Minister David Cameron to the Board of Ebbsfleet Garden City in Kent. In 2015, she became a Non-Exec Director on a NHS Clinical Commissioning Group in South London and between 2002 – 2014, Katie was a Cabinet Member in the London Borough of Bexley for Housing and then Children’s Services. Katie currently sits as a school governor.
