Justice Mukhopadhaya has had a lengthy career in India’s judiciary, which has included roles serving as justice at the Supreme Court of India, the Chief Justice of the High Court of Gujarat, acting Chief Justice at the Jharkhand High Court and at Madras High Court.
Most recently as the first chairperson of the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT), which was established in 2016.
