GFG Alliance in Australia

In Australia the GFG Alliance owns iron ore mining assets in Whyalla and iron ore bulk handling facilities at the Whyalla port which are part of SIMEC. The Whyalla Steelworks is known as Liberty OneSteel and is part of the Liberty Steel division. The Liberty Steel division owns Liberty OneSteel, Liberty OneSteel Recycling, Liberty OneSteel Metalcentre, Liberty OneSteel Reinforcing as well as the ARC, Cyclone, Waratah, EMRAILS, Austube Mills and Midalia Steel brands.
