The beginning of a new journey in Poland

January saw us welcome 1,200 Polish colleagues into the Group.

LIBERTY Częstochowa is a major Polish steel producer, the only producer of GREENSTEEL heavy plate in the country and a main pillar of its local economy.

Since then, we have made some huge steps forward:

• restarting the EAF & rolling mill.
• delivered positive financial results.
• restarted the prefabrication business
• made a clear plan for investment and repairs for the coming year
• invested in the plant’s GREENSTEEL future with the commissioning of two on-site solar farms to be in place next year.
